Location: Weft and Willow Studio, 2155 Park Ave, Chico, CA

What to bring:
Types of projects that you create to show your interests. (Example: Quilts, weavings, paintings, etc. )
Colored pencils, crayons or markers (I will have some)
Optional and not necessary:
Phone with camera
Ipad (I will show you how to download the free Adobe App Fresco.)
Rebecca was trained to work with oil paint at the Maine College of Art. This gave her an incredible understanding how how to use color. As an instructor at Chico State, she also teaches about this in her 2D Design courses. She loves everything about color and this is her main focus when she creates.
This workshop will give you a better understanding of colors that work well together, why you may want a mixture of intensity/toned hues together and ways of testing out the colors. Different demos will include Color-Aid play, painting mixing, yarn combinations and how to practice on a free Adobe Ipad program called Fresco.
Leave the course with a new love of color that will send you right to your creative projects with new inspiration!
