I am thrilled to post this on my site. I really love Overshot patterns. This is when you have a thick yarn woven with a plain weave of a thinner yarn. This makes the Overshot yarn stand out. This was woven on a Norwood loom.
The warp and plain weave was woven with a gray linen. The “Overshot” yarns are a mixture of different wool yarns.
My neighbor is Orient and Flume. I took this over and took some shots showing what some exceptional glasswork looks like with the runner. I love how the colors interplay.
The vase, bird and ram are not part of the sale. These are for display only. The sheep is from my personal collection is not O & F.
