WeavePoint for Twill

Take your Twill weaves to the next level; learn about a wide variety of twill weaves while you naturally become more proficient in using your WeavePoint software. As in all of the Zoom AVL classes, the emphasis is on collaborative learning and interaction.

We will explore Twill conventions, threading & treadling, variations with tie-ups and Multi-shaft Twills (Regular vs. Fancy, Network, Figures & Images, Block Patterns and combining Trills). Color will also be further explored in how you can test out your patterns.

How the course will work:

  • Zoom Meet-ops will be provided including a comprehensive digital workbook and links for all drafts used in the class.

  • Access to a computer running WeavePoint software will be needed for the course.

Zoom Meet-ups:

  • November 11th at 9 AM (PST) the class files will be available for download. Videos will also be available to watch before the zoom meet-ups.

  • Zoom: November 11th  from 6 to 7 PM

  • Zoom: November 14th from 9 AM to 12 PM

  • Zoom: November 18th from 6 to 7 PM
