One year ago today.

It has been a year now since we have moved into our first home. We have been incredibly grateful that we have been able to do this. We didn’t think it was possible for us because of our student loans. In fact, we were able to purchase our first home! We now have one year under our belt! So much has developed, been torn out or planned.

Moving day was incredibly intense because Stuart couldn’t lift anything because of his bike accident. Luckily, we had a great group of friends come and help us to make it happen.

My partner, Stuart, was in a bike accident within a week after purchasing the home. He healed up well and stronger than ever!

The next week, I closed down my over 1,100 square foot studio!

My wonderful friend, Gordon, helped me finish taking looms and quilting machines apart. I could NOT have done this without him!!

Here I am in the rental unit that I rented for the equipment that I was still to sell. We were thrilled that we were able to fit the Long Arm Quilting table into the space!
