Basic WeavePoint

Designed for navigation and ease of use of WeavePoint.

We will explore the Draft View, what are the Options, Menu play, Color and File (saving, exporting and printing).

We will also go through how to use WeavePoint for threading an AVL or a regular loom, and then how to weave along with it.

The AVL version (with Driver) can be set up for the loom to lift the shafts for you. The regular WeavePoint can be set up for the weaver to tap a key on their computer to know the next shaft to lift.

In the end you will be able to plan, test, design and weave your own custom patterns easily using WeavePoint.

How the course will work:

Zoom Meet-ops will be provided including a comprehensive digital workbook and links for all drafts used in the class.
Access to a computer running WeavePoint software will be needed for the course.

Zoom Meet-ups:

October 7th at 9 AM (PST) the class files will be available for download. Videos will also be available to watch before the zoom meet-ups.
Zoom: October 7th from 6 to 7 PM
