Loomcraft Loom:

This is a lovely loom that I took completely apart, fixed parts and then rebuilt. It is available for $750. It is not shippable. I can help transport it around the Chico area.

Email me at info@weftandwillow.com it you are interested in coming in to see it.

  • It is 53" across the front bar. There is a 5" handle that comes out from this. Total space across for it to fit would need to be 59".

  • The highest point is 38" at the beater bar. It is 35" across. The reed is 45.5" across. It is a 12" reed.

  • Very sturdy loom. Would be wonderful for rugs, blankets and towels.

How can Weft and Willow help you?

Are you someone who has wanted to learn how to weave, spin yarn or even draw? What is holding you back?

  • Do you have a fear of starting and failing?

  • Is it lack of materials?

  • Did you not have the time to learn before?

Rebecca Shelly is an artist who has spent her entire life exploring creative projects. In her youth, she was obsessed with drawing and painting. She attended the Maine College of Art where she studied painting. For over a decade she showed her drawings and paintings on the East Coast and then the West. She wanted to continue her study and received her Master of Fine Arts Degree at Portland State University. This past summer she found a closet full of artwork that her Mom had set aside. She decided to post this work for sale as a fundraiser for her art studio.

In 2009, she began to sew. She jumped into Garment fitting and sewing. This then led to Quilting.

Then, Weaving, Spinning and Natural Dye followed. Today, her studio has 20 looms, 6 spinning wheels, sewing machines, long arm quilting machines and artist easels.

She is an instructor in the Art Department at California State University, Chico. There she teaches drawing and 2D Design. She loves getting people excited about learning how to explore different creative approaches. She has created a Youtube page that shares her exploration of different weaving processes, rebuilding tools and tutorials on many different types of creative journeys. Her studio will often have workshops and there is a shop area where you can purchase items. Send you an email or call at 530-791-4565 to schedule a meet up time. She will often be available from 12 to 4 PM on Saturday afternoons. Find the shop items here.
